Lizards in shoes is geared towards performers with a foundation in performance; dance, circus, physical theatre,…

This workshop incorporates elements from breaking, contemporary dance and theatre, three diverse styles, resulting in a uniquely powerful physical methodology. Despite their apparent differences, these artistic disciplines share remarkable commonalities.

Through extensive research and practice, Brandon Lagaert has developed innovative concepts that bridge these styles, allowing them to flow seamlessly into one another. Some of these concepts draw inspiration from the work of Peeping Tom, while others represent original developments unique to Kaiho Company.

This transformative workshop introduces participants to these specialized concepts, designed to ignite creative potential.

Participants will discover tools for developing their own movements, phrases, qualities, and characters, expanding their artistic horizons through this integrated approach.

We will glide, spin, flow, melt, freeze, tick, hoover, glitch, and float.
This workshop has a strong emphasis on floorwork, qualities and states.

Don't bring shoes.
Or lizards.
