Felix Machtelinckx is a versatile Belgian artist, active as a singer, composer and producer. As frontman of Tin Fingers, he has become a staple in the Belgian indiepop scene, performing on numerous major stages both at home and abroad.

His warm falsetto, distinctive melodies, and poetic lyrics define his musical signature.In addition to his work with Tin Fingers, Felix is also part of the live band of Arsenal, contributing to the band’s distinctive sound.

In 2024, he released his first solo album, Night Scenes, on the British label Subexotic Records. The album explores a cinematic world of ambient sounds, lo-fi production, and experimental lyrics, partly written for the dance performance Doggy Rugburn directed by Brandon Lagaert.

De Standaard wrote:“Felix Machtelinckx’s falsetto voice, combined with minor chords and minimal electronics, evokes comparisons with Radiohead at their most introspective.”

In 2026, Felix will release a new folk album, returning to the essence of songwriting while giving traditional instrumentation a contemporary context. For this project, he collaborates with the renowned baroque ensemble B.O.X (Baroque Orchestration X). Together, they offer a unique live experience where historical instruments like the cornetto, theorbo, and baroque guitar are given new life in Felix’s intimate, modern songs.

He has previously composed the music during two collaborations with KAIHO: Doggy Rugburn and Welcome To My Funeral, where his immersive compositions deepen the emotional and narrative layers of the performances.
